Case study:
Product Packaging study for a large FMCG company in the United States
This study was initiated to collect consumer opinions on Product packaging for one of their newly launched ready to eat products.
In the first section, respondents were asked to comment on what they like and dislike about the package and how much the packaging of the product would encourage the respondent to purchase the product. These questions were followed up by questions on the parts of the package the respondent liked the most or disliked the most. The final section asked the respondents their choice of area that would most likely or was least likely to influence them to purchase the product.
Flash Logic:
The flash was programmed based on hotspots that were used to split the package into 10 different sections each relating to a specific part of the package. Areas of the package the respondent Liked the most would be shown in Green and areas that the respondent disliked the most would be shown in Red. The respondent could chose more than one section in both cases. However, the areas selected "first" would only be shown to the respondent in the next follow up question which would enquire why they liked that specific area the most. Similarly, functionality is to be applied to the dislike question.
Our highly experienced Flash programmers ensured the flash was designed, programmed and scripted based on clients specifications and standards. Complex flash scripting was used to ensure the choices were being stored in the database based on pre defined numbers assigned to the 10 hotspots.
The client was delighted with the level of service and the quality of flash delivered. Our Operations team was also applauded for their suggestions made on the functionality ensuring the client's research objective were met and expectations exceeded.
